It has been awhile since I last blogged and many changes have came slamming into our lives like a freight train at full speed.


Shortly following the great move of November 6th (which I will post about separately) we were faced with the sudden and unexpected passing of Matt's father, Phil. It was certainly a punch in the gut to realize that such a great man who was a stranger to no one could be taken from us so quickly. However, as the sun continues to rise everyday we are learning together as a family how to adjust to life without him and trying to remain trusting in God's will. He will be missed, but his legacy will continue to live on through all of those he touched during his time on Earth. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have met him and to be with the son that he raised to be as good as a man as he was <3.
