“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

In retrospect...

All of these changes have me thinking about memories of the past. Before all the craziness, before I became completely consumed by my job, before I felt labeled and before I settled for what someone else told me was achievable which then brought me back to one very memorable summer afternoon...

"What is your favorite word?"
I asked this to every person who walked into this little bar at Myrtle Beach one (very intoxicated) summer afternoon while waiting out a huge thunderstorm. Almost every single person-including the one I was with-said "Love".
When I asked one random woman to explain why she said simply "because without Love, you have nothing. And Love conquers all". I have to agree with her and have not thought differently since. That afternoon also lead me to adopting my favorite scripture. I didn't realize this until years later, but I also think this was God's way of speaking to me-regardless of the tequila involved :)

So what's your favorite word?
and How does God speak to you sometimes?
And how many times has he possibly spoken to us and we haven't heard until much later?

 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

What a good idea for a survey! Good words to keep in mind. -Think I've told you this before but recently the faith chapter (Hebrews 11) has really struck me.
