“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

Missing My Blog

Life has been a whirlwind for the past few weeks-getting everything unpacked, settled, transferred, starting new job(s), new baby kittens born, one cat stuck in a chimney, and so on....just a normal everyday life :o) I must say I have missed my blog!
Goal to self-get back to blogging more frequently!

Crafting has not been on my high priority list of late, but I have managed to sneak a few in-especially snapping quick photos with my new iPhone. The camera on it actually surprised me! It's fast with a great zoom. By no means is it the SLR I covet, but it works well for now.

This is from our "Family Reunion" at Uncle Dick and Aunt Pat's house on Labor Day. Getting the whole clan together for one photo is a project within itself! Photo taken by my Aunt Stacy and her awesome camera that I envy

Our porch kitties-how could you not love waking up to this every morning! (Hines, Lemieux, Jack, and Hampton). Snapped at 8 AM on Day 2 of owning my iPhone
Miss Passion is always ready for her close up-taken same time as above. She was helping me "work" on my laptop. Finally pulling her weight around here!

1 of 5 porch kitty "babies", Polamalu born on Mother's Day this year. He used to be kind of a wild man, but now is quite the lover. Taken with iPhone

Each bead on my bracelet represents a significant person in my life who has made me who I am today

Photo taken by iPhone at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV. I've never been able to capture my own shadow in a picture before. It may not be a work of art, but I think it's cool

One of the new "wee-ones" kitties born on Labor Day. Apparently our household has a thing with holiday = kitten births. Hopefully, this shall be the last bunch!
Can you get any cuter though?

The Bridgeport Bridge demolition. A little blurry, but not bad for being 25' away. Taken with iPhone

The Bridgeport Bridge demolition pic #2. I love the rusty gnarled metal in contrast to the solid stone and running water of the river below. I spent many years driving over this landmark. Sad to see it go, but better than someone eventually being hurt.
