“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

A Simple Question, A Larger Purpose

At Sunday service, a wonderful lady who I have known since birth named Emily asked me, "What can I pray for you today?" I thought to myself what an amazing question! It actually caught me off guard. Often, we develop our prayer list based upon what others need, but just as we exercise and eat healthy food to keep our bodies in shape, we should also work toward keeping our spirits in shape so we may remain strong for others.

Challenge 1: Ask someone, "What can I pray for you today?"

Challenege 2: Keep my spirit healthy, just as I work to keep my physical body in shape

This photo was taken from a Facebook page about a year ago by a guy I used to work with at GTC. He snapped this with his cell phone outside work. I love the beautiful rainbow in stark contrast with the barbed wire (there is barbwire because our office was located in the ghetto of Columbus). It shows through every ugly there is beauty
