“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. -Abraham Lincoln

On Tuesday, an evil lifeform called cancer forced me to say goodbye to one of the most special women I have ever met. Becky was the type of person who lit up a room with a natural sunshine that radiated from her presence. She loved being a mother of 5 amazing kids, wife, sister, and daughter and was the best at each. It's so hard to believe that in such a few short months she was called to become one of God's special angels.

I like to think Phil was waiting for her at the gates with a proud smile displayed on his face as any father would have watching his little girl as she gave that cancer hell.
The cancer may have won the battle, but in the end Becky won the war. She will be so missed by all of us mere mortals on Earth, but will serve a greater purpose of fighting evil from above to protect her loved ones. She touched so many people's lives during her short years, but without that limited time, none of us would be who we are today <3
