“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

[Navy] Blues to Bling

I must say no matter how much everybody tries to warn you, wedding planning is simply a pain in the *$%. There is no other way to describe it. Astoundingly, human nature seems to become more prodominant during this time of life. Everybody will continuously say "We want what is best for YOU", or "This time of life is about YOU and YOUR hubby to be". Let me just say this-HA! :) Seriously though, this time of our lives has forced me to do some self-reflection and patience building exercises. Also, luckily A is quite fabulous at psycho-analyzing others and myself so unlike most guys he's quite easy to talk to about problems. I'm not even married yet, but a word to the newly engaged-it will never be just about YOU and if you want the easiest route to marriage possible-Elope.

Anyway, the wedding planning is still going. Seemingly everything that is completed has to be re-done for one reason or another (example, the bridesmaid dresses we chose and ordered are now discontinued. There are many more instances but I will not bore you with that). One thing-beyond the sizing-that did not have to be re-done is one of my favorite projects of all times: Finding the perfect rings. At the end of the day, I'm a girl and I LOVE bling, but I also need something that I can work in given I'm always tinkering with something. It only took 2 hours, but here are the results. A ring (set) that can be simple, elegent, everyday, putting on the ritz, and still be able to wash the dishes.

Oh ya, and here is A's. He gets one too hehe. It's quite handsome.
