As the TV stations continue to taunt me with their holiday countdowns, I'm finally beginning to relax a little as we finish up the last bit of our shopping (for the record, I'm normally done Christmas shopping in November. This year-not even close!). I spent last night sitting in the middle of our Living Room with the "help" of a mischievous kitty surrounded by an astronomical amount of presents and busted out my creative bug. Every year, wrapping seams so daunting; however once I start I remember how much I actually enjoy spending time wrapping special things in special ways for the very special people in my life.
Isn't that what the season is all about? (No not the presents!) but the careful thought and creativity that goes into each one? It may be only once a year, but sometimes it's nice to show people how much they mean to you in a perfect little box or bag :o)
