“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.”-Carrie Bradshaw

Happy Birthday Phil
March and April seem to be the hot months for birthdays. As a way to celebrate Phil's birthday, the kids wrote messages to him in heaven, attached them to balloons and set them free. Some chose to read their messages out loud (which seem to run along the same lines of "Dear Paw, We love you and miss you. Please don't cuss in heaven" lol) and some chose to keep their messages silent. It was a very special way to celebrate the birthday of a very special man who was taken from us too soon.
Unfortunately, the wind didn't necessarily cooperate for all of the balloons.
ps. I love all of these gnarled branches of this tree. It seemed to represent the challenge of breaking free of the grief and worry and leaving it to soar into God's hands

What a good idea. I like it. And I like the significance in the balloons caught in the branches. Keep taking pictures and recording what you see. I -and I'm sure man others- enjoy. (o:
