I've been trying to better myself professionally by not only developing more patience, understanding and self-awareness, but also looking to other successful managers for advice. I've found that as I grow both in years and experience I'm challenged with more difficult situations with people in general. Some people challenge me in a way that makes me better in the long run and quite frankly some other people just plain suck :-PWith that in mind, I turned to my usual resource of books and after a few trial and errors, settled on two titles I found are enjoyable to read but also full of great information. Anybody in a managerial position or who are looking to move into that career could benefit from reading both of these books which offer examples of what to do, what not to do, and some humorous examples of what can happen when you overreact or put your foot in your mouth-not that I've ever done such a thing ;)
Check them out....Total cost = FREE (thank you again to my friend the Columbus Metropolitan Library!)
